Author and manage Procedures

The Procedures editor is a draft workspace with a searchable, sortable list and a focused editor. Every accepted change autosaves to the current user's branch draft.

Work with draft history#

Use Undo and Redo in the toolbar or Procedure history menu. The editor retains up to 100 snapshots. A new change after Undo clears the redo future. History is local to the current loaded editor state; publishing creates an immutable agent version rather than turning editor snapshots into public versions.

Drafts may be incomplete while you work. Readiness errors appear beside the Procedure and its exact field. Publish, Test chat, and new conversation creation require valid Procedures and available Tool references.

Duplicate, sort, and delete#

Duplicate creates an independent copy with a unique ID and “copy” in the name. Sorting changes configuration order, which can affect trigger priority. Search matches the Procedure name and trigger without changing order.

A referenced Procedure cannot be deleted: remove every Sub-procedure reference, including references inside If branches, first. Deleting an unreferenced Procedure removes it from the draft and can be undone while the snapshot remains. A Procedure type cannot change for the same ID; create a new Procedure when moving from Free-form to Structured or back.

Publish deliberately#

Review draft markers and readiness errors, run representative paths in Test chat, then Publish the intended branch. Open conversations keep their frozen agent-version snapshot; publishing does not rewrite their active Procedure.

For imported drafts, see Import Procedures. For runtime events and recovery, see Procedure runtime and troubleshooting.
